I was nervous about ordering a formal dress online, but the measurements worked well for me. The waist sat in the right place, the skirt was easy to walk in, and the embroidered wrap bodice and puff sleeves looked carefully finished up close.

The fabric has a nicer weight than I expected and falls smoothly instead of clinging. I only needed a standard hem alteration. The embroidered wrap bodice and puff sleeves stayed neat through dinner and dancing.

Pretty embroidery up close

The dusty blue and embroidered wrap bodice and puff sleeves are attractive, but this was not an easy fit for me. The bodice needed taking in while the hips felt snug, and I also had to shorten the hem. It worked after alterations, although I expected less tailoring.
